🚢 3 things I’d tell you before your first cruise…
If you’ve never cruised before, it can feel like there’s so much to think about - which ship? Which cabin? Do I need to book excursions? What does “all-inclusive” actually include?
So here are three things we think every first-time cruiser should know:
1️⃣ The cruise ship matters.
It’s not just about where you’re going. The ship itself can completely change your holiday.
Want adults-only? A waterpark? Flexible dining? Incredible entertainment? A quieter, more traditional cruise?
There’s a cruise line for each- and finding the right fit is something we can help with.
2️⃣ You don’t have to book the shore excursions.
You can often explore independently when your ship docks, and for some destinations this can be a fantastic option.
But organised excursions can be worth it when you want the security of knowing your timings are taken care of, or simply want someone else to organise everything for you.
It really comes down to how you want to spend your day.
3️⃣ “All-inclusive” doesn’t always mean what you think.
This is a really important one when comparing cruise holidays.
Depending on the cruise line and package, drinks, Wi-Fi, gratuities and speciality dining may or may not be included.
We’ll always go through exactly what’s included with you, so you know what you’re paying for before you step onboard.
Because booking a cruise shouldn't mean having to become an expert in cruise terminology first! 😂
