Tour 8 - HOLOCAUST: STORY OF ANNE FRANK AND OSKAR SCHINDLER.

02:00 first pick up, 😴💤😴🥱
Flew through the feeder service completing pick ups around 35 mins ahead of schedule, then we pushed on down to our breakfast stop at Oxford services where we met a few other Leger feeder vehicles from North wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

Down to interchange for 10:30 and after a swift turn around and enthusiasm from passengers , we got away sharply… down to passport control and then things looked good … after a couple of people making mistakes at the port, we managed to get through and down to check in for our P&O sailing to Calais ⛴️⛴️. By some stroke of luck we managed to catch the 13:40 over (and maybe some wine 🍷 for the lovely lady in check in 🤣)

Crossing completed and then over to our first hotel at Fletchers hotel Bunderkamp. Early ferry ment earlier finish … didn’t seem that way arriving at 21:00 🙈 long day all in all but a great group on board.

Will keep our page busy this week.

📣📣ANNOUNCEMENT TIME 📣📣

Ladies and Gentlemen, The time has come to bring you this amazing news that you’ve all been waiting for.

Due to the 90/180 rules for travel into the EU , Myself , Mark and our operator (Eifions Coaches Ltd) have made the decision to add a third member to our Leger Silver Service crew. 🚎

Also this means I am also able to take some personal time at home. 🏠 As you may know I absolutely love “Amanda” to bits so it’s been a tough road to find the right person to join us onboard 😀 but myself and Mark feel this is the right decision and we are looking forward to welcoming this person to our team.

I know some of you already know this person and we hope you will welcome him back to the Leger team.

Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome to our team, Our friend, Mr Christopher Rutherford,
Who will be taking over from me on Saturday the 2nd of May 2026.

Welcome Chris , and we both look forward to working with you onboard Amanda, and entertaining all the passengers that we welcome onboard. 😁

All three of us wish you all happy travels this season and we all look forward to seeing each and everyone of you along the way 😀

Things have moved very quickly here and we are now almost ready to make the exciting announcement.

This could be as early now as tomorrow 😀😀

🎉🎉🎉Myself and Mark are really looking forward to this and we hope that you all will be as enthusiastic as we both are 🎉🎉🎉

Myself, I am so over the moon with this decision and cannot wait to reveal this to you all 😀😀😀

It won’t be long now we promise, we just cannot wait to let this one out of the bag, it’s been a long winded journey but we are almost there now 😉

Ladies & Gentlemen, WE ARE BACK finally, though we’ve already completed a few tours this year!

Mark & I have some incredible news we’d like to share with you, and we’re confident you’ll be just as excited as we are…

Stay tuned; we will announce this very exciting news in the next couple of weeks once everything has been finalised; dotted the I’s & crossed the T’s so to speak. A few minor details to put finishing touches to, and we promise to let you in on the secret 😉

We’re both delighted we’ve managed to pull it off, and can’t wait to share this exciting news with everyone. We’re fairly confident it will go down very well with all our regular travellers, and even those of you were to meet for the first time this year…

We hope you share our enthusiasm, and are looking forward to a fantastic season ahead 😀😀😀

After a lovely stay at Hotel Akena last night , an early start with a 6am cases and departure for 7am, we are now on the road and heading down towards our second overnight hotel at the Hotel San Marco & Formula Club in Parma.

With a 945k drive today our lovely passengers are in for an entertaining day today 😁

Well , here we go again , Treasures of Tuscany.

After a speedy feeder this morning and a slightly delayed interchange, we just missed the 12:35 delayed ferry to Calais.
We are now on our booked ferry at 14:55.

We are overnighting in the Akena in Reims tonight before heading down to Parma tomorrow morning 😄😄
