About us:
ERCP is a family business farm diversification. in 2000 the UK pig industry was in crisis, UK regulation requiried pig producers to be the highest welfare pig producers in the World. We had to inv

est £0000's in our farm to convert to these new, higher standards. This investment was not refelected in the price we were paid by processors; the processors imported cheap low welfare pigmeat. We decided to diversify to cut out the middle man and prove to the general public UK Pork tasted good. We expanded the range in 2002 to encorporate all local meat and game and today we supply the general public, local restaurants and wholesalers as well as contract butchering using our specialist facilities at ERCP. ERCP is sells a small % of what pig meat we produce on farm however our ability to control the whole supply process gives the business a great footing. We grow our own grain on our arable farm and mill the pig feed on site food using specific ration specifications developed by some of the UK's best advisors. We have an inhouse breeding programme producing a carcass perfect for todays refined tastes. Why not visit us for an evening with a difference with family/friends or community groups
