34°C on a wedding morning… now that’s a challenge! 🥵☀️

Picture the scene: one bride, seven bridesmaids, two mums, two hairstylists, two makeup artists, a photographer, a videographer… and 1 room that felt more like a sauna than a bridal suite!

When it’s this warm you have to get creative. My secret weapon? An ice cold water bottle ❄️💧

Placing wrists on ice whilst styling helped keep Alice cool, comfortable, and relaxed without blowing her hair everywhere with a fan. Sometimes it’s the simplest tricks that make the biggest difference.
Beautiful hair is important, but making sure your bride feels calm and comfortable is just as important,especially when the weather has other plans!

Well ! turns out I wasn’t exactly the picture of the perfectly behaved bride. 💖😂
I accidentally kissed the groom before I was supposed to (who knew there were rules?!), then spent most of the ceremony trying and completely failing not to laugh.
The order of everything seemed to go completely out the window. We were forever one step ahead, one step behind, or just making it up as we went along. At one point I wasn’t entirely sure whether we were supposed to be saying vows, exchanging rings, or just trying to compose ourselves!
But you know what? I wouldn’t change a single second. Suffolk Registrars
Our wedding wasn’t perfectly choreographed, it was perfectly us. Full of laughter, little mishaps, happy tears, and moments we’ll be talking about for years to come.
If there’s one thing I learned, it’s that the best weddings aren’t the ones where everything goes to plan they’re the ones where you’re having far too much fun to notice that it didn’t.
Here’s to kissing the groom too early, laughing at all the wrong moments, and marrying my favourite person anyway. ❤️ love you Paul Green 💍🎩
