Iโ€™m currently combining a girlsโ€™ trip with a work trip here in beautiful Costa Navarino, located in the southwest Peloponnese region of Greece ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท

Costa Navarino is one of Greeceโ€™s most impressive luxury destinations, made up of four distinct hotels:
โœจ The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort
โœจ The Westin Resort Costa Navarino
โœจ W Costa Navarino
โœจ Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino

Iโ€™ve just been out on a site visit, and what I love most is that each hotel has its own unique personality and style, meaning thereโ€™s genuinely something for everyone.

The Westinโ€™s rooms were fully renovated last year and look fantastic, while The Romanos is scheduled for a refurbishment either next year or the following season - despite still having beautiful rooms! Even so, it remains a stunning resort with an incredible setting.

The best part? No matter which hotel you choose, you can enjoy the facilities and restaurants across the wider resort. With more than 40 restaurants, bars and dining experiences to choose from, youโ€™ll never be short of options!

Stay tuned for more Costa Navarino content over the next few days as I continue exploring this incredible destination. ๐ŸŒŠโ˜€๏ธ

When people think of a safari in Kenya, they often think about the incredible wildlife. The lions, elephants, rhinos and giraffes are certainly unforgettable, but what many people donโ€™t realise is that tourism plays a vital role in protecting both wildlife and local communities.

A significant proportion of the conservation and park fees you pay goes directly towards supporting Kenyaโ€™s conservancies. These are not-for-profit organisations that work tirelessly to protect endangered species, restore habitats and maintain vital wildlife corridors that allow animals and people to coexist.

But conservation in Kenya is about so much more than wildlife.

The revenue generated from tourism helps fund local schools, scholarships, nurseries, healthcare clinics, clean water projects and agricultural education programmes. Many conservancies also provide small business loans and training for women, helping families create sustainable incomes and stronger futures.

Having visited Meru, Lewa and Loisaba, what struck me most was seeing first-hand how conservation and community go hand in hand. The wildlife is thriving because local people benefit from protecting it, and tourism is a huge part of making that possible.

So when you choose to visit Kenya, youโ€™re not just booking a holiday. Youโ€™re helping to support wildlife conservation, education, healthcare and opportunities for local communities.

Travel has the power to make a real difference, and Kenya is one of the best examples of that Iโ€™ve ever seen.

Thinking about a safari? Iโ€™d love to help you plan an adventure that not only creates incredible memories but also supports the people and wildlife that make Kenya so special.

I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever travelled this light beforeโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜…

When you only have a 15kg luggage allowance and over 5kg of that is camera equipment, you quickly realise you really donโ€™t need that many clothes!

I started by pulling out loads of outfitsโ€ฆ and then gradually culled them down to the essentials. The good news? Most safari lodges offer daily laundry, so you can pack far less than you think.

The MOST important things?
โœ”๏ธ Camera + chargers
โœ”๏ธ Spare memory cards/battery packs
โœ”๏ธ Mosquito repellent
โœ”๏ธ Binoculars
โœ”๏ธ Sunglasses & hat
โœ”๏ธ Sunscreen
โœ”๏ธ Power bank

And no plug adapter needed if youโ€™re travelling from the UK as the plugs are the same! ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Safari really isnโ€™t about dressing up โ€” itโ€™s about the experiences, the wildlife and being out in nature. Pack lightโ€ฆ save the luggage allowance for your camera gear instead! โœจ

This morning, our guide Martin took us on a sunrise hike up Mughwango Hill.

I wasnโ€™t entirely sure what Iโ€™d signed up for, but I knew it couldnโ€™t possibly be as tough as Mt Toubkal! What I wasnโ€™t expecting, however, was scrambling up near-vertical rock faces with Martin calmly telling us โ€œdonโ€™t look downโ€ while Simon repeatedly shouted, โ€œOMG!โ€

It was certainly a sunrise walk Iโ€™ll never forget.

Watching the sun rise over Meru National Park, with nothing but the sounds of the bush around us, made every early alarm worthwhile. Itโ€™s moments like these that make a trip truly special and create memories that stay with you long after youโ€™ve returned home.

A huge thank you to the team at Elsaโ€™s Kopje as we depart this morning for our next destination. What an incredible start to our Kenyan adventure.
