Fires I’ve Put Out This Past Week 🔥
(Why having a travel agent matters)

✈️ Return flight and transfer cancelled — rebooked before my clients even knew there was an issue.

🕒 Airline connections too tight — negotiated fast track from one gate to the next so they made their flights.

🏨 Wrong hotel room on arrival — called senior reservations directly and had it sorted within 24 hours.

All while helping new clients, supporting existing ones, juggling childcare… and yes, doing it from my own holiday.

🌅 Bittersweet sunset

We’ve just returned from a lovely family break by the coast. I captured this sunset on one of our evenings and at first glance, it looks peaceful and perfect.

But look a little closer and you’ll see a lifeboat and a rescue helicopter.

That evening, someone sadly lost their life at sea.

It was a powerful reminder that life is fragile. Take the trip. Watch the sunset. Be present. Hug the people you love. Be kind. Life is precious and we never truly know what others are going through or what tomorrow may bring.

Grateful for the memories, and thinking of those who are hurting. ❤️
