Just this week I’ve had a honeymoon couple depart to Thailand for a tailormade trip including the beautiful , and another couple head to the Med to board . Meanwhile I also have a family in the Maldives loving life at . They’re seeing all types of marine-life including this stingray.

Tropic state of mind 🌴🐚

My own trip to Barbados in 2024 was a total game-changer. It made me rethink how I like to spend Christmas and New Year. As much as I love the festivities with family and friends, it can also be such a hectic time of year — and there’s absolutely no shame in swapping the chaos for some sunshine.

Last week I was in Leeds for a Caribbean training day with suppliers, getting up to date with what’s new across the islands — from Barbados and St Lucia to Antigua, Grenada and the Dominican Republic — plus the latest from cruise lines sailing these shores, including the ultra-chic Virgin Voyages 🛳️

Another gorgeous trip to add to my departures list. One of my favourite destinations ever, of course it's the home of 'le dolce vita'... beautiful Italy.

Over Easter this family will experience a stay at the elegant Grand Hotel Baglioni in Florence, perfectly located for exploring the historic centre, incredible food scene and all the culture the city has to offer.

They’ll then pick up a car and continue into the Tuscan countryside to stay at Tenuta Sant’Ilario, a rural family-run retreat surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills — the perfect contrast to Florence and ideal for relaxing, wine tasting and enjoying the slower pace of Italy.

Self-drive trips like this are a favourite to plan because they can be completely tailored — combining cities, countryside and unique hotels to create a truly unique itinerary.
