Where the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path begins (or ends if you’re coming the other way!)

We parked up in Amroth and walked along the beach at low tide (look out for the remains of the ancient petrified forest 🌳) … another interesting landscape looking across the bay to Saundersfoot, with sheer cliffs and plenty of rocks formations with tidal pools to discover

We walked all the way down the beach to Wiseman’s Bridge and stopped for a quick drink at ( 💚)

Then headed up the road to pick up the coastal cliff path back to Amroth 👍🏻 … another bit of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path ticked off ✅

About 45 minutes from Boyne House - dog friendly beach 🐾

The rock formations and landscape is so stark and jagged, it’s a wonder to behold!

There are so many different birds that visit Boyne House so we have placed plenty of bird feeders … they are so tame too, I was sat about a metre away to record all that activity 🤩💚

We have clocked:
Robins

Coal t**s
Nuthatches
Wrens
Chaffinches
Swifts
Jays
Collared doves
Treecreepers
Woodpeckers

A little shout out to Solva 💚🤩

Only 10/15 minutes drive away and _always_ worth a visit … the picturesque quay and harbour, a gorgeous ‘secret’ beach you can walk out to at low tide, and so many eateries and pubs … make sure you pay it a visit when you stay with us!

We always make time for a trip to The Griffin Dale Pembrokeshire at Dale when we’re in Pembrokeshire … the best location...

Something different … we love an Escape Room and this one was great fun!

St David’s Escape Room … A lovely, peaceful, rural setting and a gorgeous cottage venue. Inside has plenty of local theming and educational information too 👍🏻

And yes, we escaped 🔐👍🏻 (53 minutes 🏆)

Around 50 minute drive from Boyne House so we combined it with a trip to Church Door Cove and Skrinkle Haven just round the corner for a quick swim 👍🏻

Around 50 minute drive from Boyne House so we combined it with a trip to Manorbier Castle just round the corner 👍🏻

Didn’t think we’d get out today with Storm Floris raging all morning 🌧️ 💨 🌪️!

But after lunch you’d never have known it was the same day 😮

Parked at Treginnis (between Porth Clais and Whitesands) and followed the track through to St Justinian/Porthinian … some great shots of the lifeboat station and across to Ramsey Island 📸

A lovely (mostly flat) walk along the Coastal Path back towards Treginnis … then a quick stop at the Porth Clais kiosk on the way home for a lovely ice cream 🍦

We have plenty of guidebooks in the cottage showing you all the routes for the Pembrokeshire Coastal Paths - suitable in all seasons 🥾💚

One of the first things we do when we’re in Pembrokeshire is stock up on … this month’s flavours include Honey 🍯, Chocolate 🍫 and Banana 🍌 , and Toffee Apple🍎😋
