Mallards Reach Equestrian Centre

A lifelong family farming, turned equine business, combining many, many years of experience, we have now been trading as Mallards Reach for since 2000.

During this time we have produced horses and ponies which have won the highest level competitions in the disciplines of eventing, showing and working hunter ponies, including qualification for Badminton and winning at the Horse of the Year Show in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011,2012, 2013 & 2014
Andrew and Amy are currently competing at 4* three day eventing, national and international working hunter comp

etitions. We produce from unbroken to competition standard horses and ponies of the highest calibre and compete clients/breeders horses.

Dovanti Boy came 4th in the HOYS middleweights,
Kalani K clear round and 3rd in the RIHS WH,
Cumano Cassini 4th in the novice WH

DC for Million Dreams in the British Novice,
2nd and DC for Flying Orange in the 95cm, 3rd Discovery
2nd and DC for Oliver Blue in the 1.05m
1st Ballygriffin Odysseus in the 1.15m
4th for Alana and Archie in the Discovery

Unaffiliated SJ Littlemill Sunday
DC and 1st for Libby and Harley 90cm
DC and 3rd for Harriet and Archie 90cm

It’s been such a pleasure to produce Geoff since a 3yr old for his wonderful breeder’s Sian & Lucy Kiff and then following on to his next lovely owner Lisa Jones, we’ve enjoyed much fun and success with him, lots of special memories.
Best of luck to Team Homer with Alice and Caitlin, we can’t wait to see you out and about 🥰🥰🥰

A few pics of what the team have been up to over the past couple of weeks,
Libby and Harriet at Crown Farm Cotswold cup,
Libby jumping a DC for 8th and Harriet having a great completion for their first ever event 😁

Alana and Sophie at the Pembrokeshire County Spring Show,
2 clears and 2nds for Alana and Archie in the WH, and a 3rd for Sophie and Joe in the ridden hunters 😁

Tweseldown BE
Another Intermediate for Ody, fab clear SJ and an almost clear XC but a little nap on a turn gave us a 20 pen this time but ended up 5th in the 7yr old class.
5yr old Flo jumped her first 100 XC clear with a cracking round, starting to get the hang of events now,
Oliver Blue jumped another Novice with one down SJ and a steady clear XC, he will be for sale this season if anyone is looking for a future superstar please do get in touch 🥰🥰

Next competition this week is Windsor Horse Show 🤞🤞🤞

SHB GB Spring Show Addington Manor on Sunday 😁

Jo’s Dovanti Boy enjoyed his first party of the year to qualify for RIHS 🥳 in the Irish Draught Sportshorse class,

Lisa’s Brambletown Boy jumped two lovely clear rounds to come 2nd 🥈🥈in both of his worker classes.

Sarah enjoyed her first worker class on new boy Cumano Cassini for a clear and 3rd 🥉

Harriet and her own Darog’s Dancer jumped a great clear for 4th place

Kalani K was really excited to be out and also jumped a clear for 4th place.

Must have been the wettest place in England today 😅

The rain didn’t put off Kate’s Ballygriffin Odysseus,
Ody WON 🥇the Novice making light work of the steep hills with a speedy DC, what a superstar 🥳🥳🥳
All set for his first intermediate next week 😁

Jemima’s 6yr old Oliver Blue competed in his first Novice with a great DC to come 11th, super proud of him 🥰🥰🥰

Lesley’s 5yr old Flying Orange 🍊 competed in her first BE100, a really sweet test, one rail SJ and one little wobble XC, apart from that a super round gaining valuable mileage, exciting things to come 😁

Huge thanks to Harriet and Dad for coping on a very soggy day and the team at home for keeping everything going 😘😘

Flying Orange competing in her first BE90 with a DC clever girl 🥰
Ballygriffin Odysseus competing in his first Intermediate Novice, a very sweet test, one rail SJand fab clear XC, getting ready to step up to Intermediate soon 😍
Alana and Archie doing a lovely test and finishing the day with a good XC 💪

While we were in Larkhill Libby and Harley had a fab day at Waverton Cotswold Cup jumping a super DC and coming 8th in the 80, superstars 🥳🥳

Sunday was BSPS Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Show at Pencoed where Brambletown Boy and Kizzie Lucas did a super job to come 2nd in the RIHS Int SRT class

Huge thanks to the whole team for keeping the show on the road, couldn’t manage without any of you 😘😘😘
