There's now a defibrillator in Llanrhian (2 miles up the road from Abereiddy)

The defib has now been put up and is active. If anyone needs to use it for an emergency then it's outside the church.

***COVID-19 update*** Urgent Message

The Government clearly states that travel to second homes is NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL - please read down & then read article ⬇️

Message to all Second Home Owners, Caravaners & Camper Van Owners:

Although we would normally welcome you to our beautiful area, we only have 1,000 hospital beds in the three western counties (which includes Pembrokeshire) to serve a population of 350,000.

We are urging everyone to stay away & stay safe at home for now, at this time of global crisis and transition (even though we love & miss you) to prevent further impossible strain on our resources here to give us the best chance of limiting crisis impact ✋

As you know, we are at the end of the line on the St. Davids peninsula in West Wales and are stretched to support our rural needs at this time of crisis 🙏🏻

We URGE second home owners, caravans and camper vans to PLEASE stay at home at this time 🏠

There appears to be a mass influx of those who own second homes and caravans to our area over the last two weeks - which of course is totally understandable BUT is adding untenable strain on our resources and health system 🙌🏻

Already someone arrived from London last week and brought the virus to our local hospital 🙏🏻

The government is now clearly stating that travelling to 2nd homes is non essential travel ⬇️
