Aneela McKenna moved from Glasgow to the Scottish Borders 17 years ago. She has worked in diversity and inclusion for more than two decades, but it's only in the last few years that she decided to combine her passions.

It's great to see Aneela's work for more diversity in sport featured ITV Border.

And the winner of the HSBC Recreational Cycling Award announced by Mark Beaumont is...Laura Nisbet. Congratulations!

Laura is a Breeze Champion and Guided Ride Leader in Kelso and Jedburgh. In her nominations she was praised for organising friendly, welcoming rides, when COVID restrictions permitted, and keeping people motivated and engaged during lockdowns.
