Fantastic Autumn day tour today! Highlight was undoubtedly the Icterine Warbler at Kenidjack that showed really well! Birds were generally quiet but we had a couple of great Peregrine experiences, 6 Choughs, Wheatear, Whitethroat, and Black-tailed Godwits. Butterflies were abundant tho and included brief Queen of Spain Fritillary, Painted Ladies, Clouded yellows and Commas. Hot and sunny all day, lovely scenery and great company!

Shame this never came to fruition! Both Marazion and especially Hayle would certainly benefit from a smart visitor centre! Newspaper article from 27th Feb 1997!

Great day on Saturday with Bob on a private tour. List of potential year ticks provided and we managed Chough, Dartford Warbler, Manx and Corys Shearwaters. Lovely sunny day at Porthgwarra, Kenidjack, Roeswall and Hayle estuary. Nice to see a few migrant Butterflies around and a bonus Common Redstart!

About to leave Scilly! Lovely crossing over this morning but very few birds. Two Cory's, 2 Greats and numerous Manx Shearwaters and a couple of European Storm Petrels the highlights. And one or two Dolphins. Fingers crossed for the journey back! Isles of Scilly Travel

Brilliant Nightjar Evening! At least 3 churring Males and a very showy flyover! Nice to see a few Spotted Flycatchers too!

Apologies again for lack of updates recently! In the middle of moving house in between tours! Had a great day tour in East Cornwall last week, despite the cold weather! More like November than June! Anyway, we still hit all the target species including Tree Pipit, Common Redstart, Spotted Flycatcher, Dipper, Yellowhammer and Treecreeper. Cuckoo heard but not seen well in high winds!

Hi everyone!! Apologies for lack of content recently! Our next day tour is to East Cornwall this coming Sunday with target birds such as Dippers, Redstarts, Yellowhammers, Treecreepers, Tree Pipits and Cuckoo. We do have two places spare if you fancy a last minute booking!

We then have four private tours to squeeze in before our first Nightjar Evening of the season!! Really looking forward to this unique experience this year! We have very few places left on each of the three dates so get booked in now!!
