The 1st beach was an absolute gem, just below Housel Bay Hotel, & the 2nd was Poldhu. And Mullion Cove in the middle

Typical Cornwall style we started off boiling & ended up wrapped up 😆

Hayle did the most amazing tribute to 911 yesterday , and we were privileged to be present at it.

Rick Rescorla was a real hero (look up his incredible actions) and I had no idea that he had grown up in Hayle.

Singing Cornish songs as he guided people out, his actions saved over two thousand people and he sacrificed his own life 😢

I found it genuinely emotional, all those people lost through wicked men's decisions...

We then wandered down the avenue that's been done with shell poppies to represent the lost lives of firefighters, policeman, emergency services and the one dog

A day of heavy contemplating.

We've been meaning to go to Ardor in St Ives since we saw them cooking at the St Ives food festival in May.

Last night was not a disappointment & we were especially glad to have chosen the 'chef's counter' as it was a show combined 😀

Amazing food, amazing experience 😋 WOW do they work at a phenomenal speed, continously!

We are a 4 minute walk from the gorgeous, 3 miles of Hayle beach and also the south West Coast path.

Sleeping 3 in a double room and a full size single, we have a lovely, relaxed patio space to enjoy a wee drinky after a day at the beach ⛱️

Loads of fabulous eateries walkable & just a 15 min walk into Hayle and 20mins drive to St Ives 👌

Parking is directly outside and free super fast WiFi
