We are loving the just along the beach from Southern Bell!

A little bit of sign paining on this incredible anonymous sculpture on Hayling beach. The ‘wishing whale’ has been hand crafted from pallet wood, and tiny barnacles and sea snail details made from clay. The natural notts in the wood are serving as little post boxes- for you to write down your wishes- roll them up and send them to the wishing whale fairies.
Make sure you visit this amazing piece of artwork if you are in the area. It’s situated on the beach opposite the Olive Leaf pub.

Little stroll along the beach towards the harbour yesterday and it was lovely to see the Highlands back on the beachfront nature reserve.

We had another lovely day out with friends on the harbour on this morning trip yesterday. It's definitely something we recommend for any guests staying at Southern Bell.

Breakfast is available here from a very civilised 9.30 to 11.30am at this lovely spot along the beach!

In case you needed reminding, we serve breakfast 7 DAYS A WEEK! 🍳🥓 Some dishes on our breakfast menu include the traditional full English breakfast, or if you fancy something lighter, poached eggs and avocado on toast 🥑

It's 30c and the beach is calling!

Cool down at the coast and in the sea. The water by Southern Bell is around 19c at the moment.

We only have three nights left available before November, being the weekend of 15th to 18th August, so pop us a message if you would like to book.

The sun is shining and it’s the perfect day for some live music in our Garden!

From 3pm today we’ll have the wonderful Amy & Matt Sackman performing some chilled Sunday tunes in the sunshine! It’s our first Garden music event of the year!

Plus, our Proper Sunday Roasts will be available 12-6 😋
