Simon has spent the morning supporting Batchelor monkhouse setting up for Heathfield Show and it's looking like it's going to be a hot one! Following on from our post a couple of weeks ago with the old flyer we showed...
We thought you would like see some old photos of what was grandads first removal lorry, and a commer van, the photo is from around 1958.
Also some photos of the yard that was A H Vater and Sons, it was just down the road from where we are now. We had the best time in the school holidays hanging around there and if we were lucky we even got to ride out in one of the many lorry's that they had.
If you have got any memories of A H Vater and Sons we would love to hear them.

We thought you might like to see what one of our customers dropped in for us the other day! 👀

This is an a old flyer dating back to 1958. A. H. Vater was our grandad, and as you can see there hasn't been too much change as to what we do and the services we offer.

The phone number made us laugh- Heathfield 241- phone numbers are quite a bit longer now!🤣

After a very wet winter there are early signs that spring is here which is great news for us all. We haven't posted for a while as we have been really busy on the removals side and the aggregates have started to pick up nicely as the weather has started to look better with collections and delivery's. Here is a few pics from the last few weeks, there is a couple from the National Trust Scotney Castle as well as a recent hot tub we undertook which is made easy with the right equipment. As you can see we move anything from motorbikes to ride on mowers etc, all part of our services we can offer.
As you can see we are no ordinary removals company.

Simon Vater had two days last week moving medical equipment from Maidstone to Hailsham for Medi Tech Trust, who do a fantastic job of sorting and sending it to charities and families here in the UK, Africa and Ukraine. Well done to Helen and her team that makes sure it gets to everyone that needs it.

Sean had a bit of a different delivery this week with his lorry, he had to take a 12 foot tall 4 foot wide water wheel that was made by Doug Andrews who is a Wheelwright from Vines Cross near Horam.
It was built by Doug then taken apart so it would fit on four pallets, making it easy to be loaded on and off using our crane. It was then delivered to the National Trust Dunster Watermill near Minehead.
