Baby Sensory North Huddersfield A magical journey awaits you and your baby, from birth-13 months we offer different, weekly themed classes at our very own WOW Centre in Heckmondwike.

Our award winning classes offer babies a multi-sensory environment. Start your journey with us. Hi, I'm Brooke, mum of two girls, Florence & Willow. I first attended Baby Sensory when my youngest daughter turned 2 months old. I was originally given some vouchers for the classes by a friend who had also attended and instantly fell in love. I have attended so many baby classes not just with my youngest, but with my eldest daughter, Florence but nothing comes close to Baby Sensory and the benefits we both felt through the classes. Baby Sensory provides a perfect opportunity to intimately bond with your child, exploring the science behind their developments and how to continue this at home. It also highlights the best way for your child to learn, combining free-play with a structured class. In addition, it also enables Mum’s to socialise, watching their children grow together through shared experience. When the opportunity presented itself for me to make the move from my successful career in Sales Management, I jumped at the chance for a better quality of life, to spend more time with my girls and also pursue a dream.....to work with children. I bought the Baby Sensory franchise in 2015 and every day I look forward to delivering amazing and unique classes, working with both babies and parents.

🎵🎼🎸Music supports brain development!!

Music stimulates multiple areas of a baby’s brain at once. Hearing, movement, memory, and emotion. Strong rhythms like those in rock and roll help babies start recognizing patterns, which is an early building block for language and problem-solving.

It’s rainforest week and we’re busy exploring textures, BUT WHY❓

Through the sense of touch, our babies brain builds up interconnecting circuits within and between important parts of the brain such as the amygdala (emotional centre) and the motor cortex which controls action.

Babies will naturally examine and concentrate at length on textured objects that have a soft, comforting
feel such as fleeces and fur fabrics on our forest floor this week BUT we are also exposing them to textures like coconuts 🥥 and pineapples 🍍 to help promote overall sensory development, fine motor skills but also exposure to the world 🌍 around them.
