As we head into the latter half of 2026, we’re seeing a shift in the way people want to travel. It’s becoming less about ticking off destinations and more about travelling at the right time, at the right pace, and in a way that feels genuinely rewarding.
Here are a few trends we’re seeing at Savile Row Travel - and ones we expect to carry into 2027:
⭐️ Beyond peak season
September, October and the spring months are becoming increasingly appealing. Think beautiful weather, a little more breathing room and the chance to experience a destination when life feels more local.
⭐️ Small trips, big experiences
Not every adventure needs to be two weeks long or meticulously planned. Shorter solo escapes, spontaneous discoveries and slower journeys closer to home are giving travellers more freedom to explore on their own terms.
⭐️ The great outdoors
Wellness travel is taking on a more natural meaning. Fresh air, long walks, wild landscapes, coastlines and time away from screens can sometimes be the greatest luxury of all.
⭐️ Travel after dark
There’s something special about going somewhere where the night sky takes centre stage. Remote retreats, dark-sky destinations and stargazing experiences are encouraging us to look up, slow down and appreciate where we are.
For us, the thread connecting them all is simple: travel with more purpose, more space and more time to truly experience a place.
Which of these would inspire your next journey? ✈️
