A very last-minute, spontaneous scuba dive, camping under the stars and even MORE whales to end the season! 🏕️🐋

Hearing whale song whilst underwater is something I’ll never forget. There’s something absolutely surreal about being beneath the surface and hearing these incredible animals singing in the distance. An actual core memory and one of the most insane experiences of our travels so far. 🥹💙

Honestly, I think this trip had the most wildlife encounters of anywhere we’ve been in Australia so far… snakes, sharks, whales, dolphins, koalas, bluebottles and so much more! You genuinely never know what you’re going to come across out here. 🐍🦈🐬🐨🪼

Proof that some of the best adventures are the ones you plan at the very last minute. 🇦🇺✨

Byron Bay, you were something else! 🌴 We,ll be back to dive Julian’s rock again and surf the waves I’m sure ;)

💜 Spring in Brisbane is officially my favourite time of year! 🌸☀️

The jacaranda trees have burst into bright purple blossom all across the city, it’s warm, the sky is blue and, best of all… there’s barely any humidity! 😍

Blue skies, sunshine, purple streets and that perfect warm weather where you can actually enjoy being outside without melting. There’s just something about wandering around Brisbane this time of year that makes you fall in love with the place a little bit more. 💜🌿

If you’re thinking of visiting Brisbane, spring might just be the perfect time! 🇦🇺✨

The summer before we got married was FULL of DIYs, little projects and messing about practising all the tiny details we wanted to make sure went smoothly. 🥹🤍

We were just so excited. We planned every last detail of our day, right down to practising the little things… even our first dance pick-up because we’re both clumsy af😂

Looking back, I love how much time we spent making everything feel so us. It wasn’t just planning a wedding, it was months of excitement, anticipation and counting down to becoming husband and wife. 🥹💍✨

AKA the excuse for one BIG party with everyone back home to celebrate us getting married! 🥂🎉

Looking back, I’m so bloody nostalgic 🥹 What a day, what a night and what a group of people to celebrate with.

And honestly… if you can’t have fun with your partner, then you’re doing life wrong 🤷‍♀️😂

One year on and I’d do it all over again. 🤍
