There is nothing more Italian than this! Simple combination of garlic, tomato, and basil creates something truly special and inextricably Italian. We add cherry tomato’s for a bit of sweetness to balance the flavour. Festivals are just days away!

This is strozzapreti which translates literally as Priest-stranglers! After the Papal States took over Emilia-Romagna the nonnas named this pasta in the hope the priests would choke on their supper! We are making ours with spinach and pairing it with the absolute classic pomodoro sauce (and a mountain of Parmesan). It’s amazing. Trust me:)
