***Contest closed***

My dear friends at Historia Normannis Hereford are doing a fund raiser.

I would like to help contribute to this my selling off my tiny armoury.
The armoury includes a Glaive, Partisan, Fork, Guisarme, Billhook, Boarding axe, Double-bitted axe, Hammer and Sword.

If you wish for any of these items, please donate to the link below and write the word "Armoury" in the Words of support section. (Make sure you're signed in)

Assuming the bidding is less that £100, the top 3 donations featuring the word Armoury will win an item of their choice (highest bid gets first choice)

However, the highest donation over £100 will get the lot.

If... (and im not expecting this, but stretch goals, i suppose) the bids reach over £300, the highest donor get the lot AND i will make a brand new tiny weapon of their choosing.

This will end on the 1st febuary 2026.
I hope this is of interest and we help this lovely little community of weirdos reach their goal.

I've never made a weapon this big!
Recent commission, a giant sword made to be swung around for exercise in an Indian mace style.

Fantastic fun to make, and I look forward to making more in the future.

Thanks to Swords Of Cygnus for lending me a model. (Congratulations on your recent win!)

I made it safe for combat.... but I don't want to use it... I want it to stay beautiful forever.
A snaking pattern runs down the blade core and a handle of mycelium infected green oak. Loosely based on a 12th century illustration.

Sorry I haven't posted I'm a while. Here's some pattern weld. I'm mostly on Instagram these days

Making some fun decorations! I'm sure I've seen this type of spear before. Cannot remember the name of it. Any guesses?

In my youthful excitement I will have heard somthing about hardening hammers and the mythical arts of tempering and will have attempted it on my old cross-pein at some point.
This bore as much fruit as an Antarctic cactus plantation, and eventually the pein came off.

This would normally be thrown away, however this was the very first blacksmithing hammer my father bought for me almost a decade ago and it is rather sentimental.
So it has been given a new lease on life as a dog's-head that I shall use when doing my demonstrations (a calmer, slower life that it has previously led) and a small kitchen knife from the bit that fell off, scaled with the wood from the original handle.

Poor old hammer. 9 years since I got him. He did well. Probably didn't heat treat it properly. Bit stumpier now.

Looking a little nicer with an etch on it.
