If you are looking for a more upbeat party atmosphere and a festive cocktail, we would definitely suggest booking a booth in Vercellis. Perfect for late afternoon festive cocktails and it’s so family friendly! The steak and pastas are fab!

🎄The Beaumont - Hexham
A more exclusive and personal dining experience, with an incredible menu. Our ultimate choice for date nights or special celebrations. It’s magical.

🎄The Feathers - Stocksfield
The most beautiful setting for a hearty pub meal, fireside. With melt in the mouth beef, exclusive wines and unbelievable festive delights. Their commitment to using local produce is so reflected in the delicious flavours!

🎄The Elks Head - Whitfield
An amazing little find! Imagine the Christmas film “The Holiday” - A country pub, red wine, a fire on… it’s here. Their food is divine - so worth a visit!

🎄The Carts Bog - Next door
If you don’t want to go far, our little local is unbelievably cosy. The staff are welcoming, awesome beers, menu tasty and we have the best locals!

Relax beneath the celestial canvas of Northumberland's dark skies.💫✨

Did you know, Northumberland has very low levels of light pollution, awarded the most pristine dark skies in Britain. On a clear night, you can see thousands of stars, the Milky Way and even the Andromeda Galaxy with the naked eye. Every night, there is something incredibly special to experience.

Our beautiful cottage is nestled amongst this natural observatory, with a telescope provided to truly experience the magic. 🔭

With Northumberland National Park on our doorstep, we also have recommendations of fantastic local stargazing/planetarium events and astronomers to guide you through the enchanting night sky. 🌌

We have 8 beautifully presented bedrooms, each with a Smart TV and bespoke country decor.

A favourite for lots of our guests, the vintage four-poster king size bedroom features a hidden bathroom and copper, freestanding roll top bath and french doors leading to a private balcony with seating.

2 kingsize bedrooms offer unique, beautiful interiors, both with an ensuite shower room and one with french doors leading to more outdoor seating.

Three additional stylish bedrooms share comfortable super kingsize zip & link beds. These beds can be made up as twins on requests.

Two beautiful family bedrooms each sleep up to three guests, with an indulgent super kingsize zip & link bed and a single bed.
