Retreats have changed so much throughout the past decade, which brings 2 things..
1. More choice and opportunities to explore different locations, and experiences.
2. It's harder to recognise what is on offer that will actually deliver the soulful need in oneself.
When looking for a retreat, it is often the long list of 'content' that bamboozles people, what VALUE do you get, what are you paying for?
Through my experience of creating retreats from the root up, its is ALWAYS about what people feel and the transformation they receive through attended the retreat. Each one that I feel called to create and facilitate is done so through BEing heartfelt.
Firstly I feel passionate about the transformational experience 'the REASON' that the retreat will exist, the place and location will have called me from within, been shown to me in some way, often through a direct channelled message, it will have felt absolutely right and I will either know the place or visit before I take a retreat group. Infact most places and venues have 'found me' through fantastic synchronicities, inner messages or a meeting of souls..
The whole picture of a retreat must be for me a work of art, a collective energy of all aspects and my enthusiasm and passion to facilitate the retreat, so that I am invested 100% and beyond into that experience and holding sacred, private space for what is always profound and transformational at SOUL level, both spiritually and personally for ALL attendees. This means that you don't just feel 'great and inspried' on the retreat, you will have created change on a deeper level that remains a part of you on your onward journey when you return home.
My Spiritual retreats have been known as a deep dive inwards, but always offer such experienced and safe spaces to JUST BE and allow whatever is needed to release and be gained. The environment giving noirishment and the exploration is so important too.
The support is plentiful and deeply nurturing for the Soul, this is a must and it makes the whole experience of healing and finding oneself on a deeper level an incredible opportunity to surrender, and as we all know, sometimes that isn't easy because as strong independant conscious souls, we have lived through a lot, and as I am often told, it is rare to find such an experienced, safe, authentic and honest leader, a must to BE in for such an inner calling that will catapult you into the next phase of your path, without doubt!
Every retreat that is out there will have much to offer to people in different ways, however after 14 years I absolutely know what I facilitate and deliver 'no matter what I name the retreat' so people truly know what they are coming for, or at least FEEL it within to know they are meant to attend. Not everything isnfor everyone one and we must know who we help and what experiences we deliver, this makes us unique.
I never worry about how many people attend or who attends, because I TRUST implicitly that the universe aligns us all for the experiences we must have.
It is only resistance of change that sometimes stops people having the opportunity.
