22/03/1993 - 22/03/2023 Access Drilling Services Ltd. is celebrating 30 years.
Been privliedged to have been on some pretty awesome projects over the years (some not so🤣) always there with a solution to some big challenges but we like that.
Thanks to our customers and suppliers for keeping us going sometimes at the drop
of a hat.

Another fantastic job completed
by one of our brilliant teams of skilled ops.

Existing structure needed height reduction of existing radial wall, removal of wall dividing the old and new structure which was required to be cut flush to floor and walls of the channel and removal of a slab overhanging live inlet flows.

Another technically challenging job completed on by the best in the business for HS2 services diversion after weeks of discussions on requirements.

Client had to re- route cables through a 2m thick concrete and brick retaining wall they required 2No. 450mm dia holes drilled on a 45degree horizontal angle and 7 degree vertical angle to allow cables to sweep in the direction required.

As usual it was time critical and not the easiest of conditions and overall depth of holes was just over 4 Metres due to the angles and plinth cast to assist with Angles and 2m long cores weighing around 750kg work completed in just over 2 shifts.

Our Siltbuster HD unit is out on site - we were asked to treat the concrete slurry produced from our wire sawing and tracksawing activities on site to enable it to be disposed of - the slurry produced had a PH11.5 and was required to be below PH9 to enable us to dispose of the waste water on site.
The HD unit filters the heavy particlates in the first stage and the water infused with CO2 to bring down the PH to safer levels, once this is processed the water weirs through more filters and out to drain with now particulates resulting in a very happy clients & environment!

Carrying out some shutdown work to expose an underground chamber, to allow new tunnel connections - after months of planning and working with the main contractor we carried out this site and one further around a mile away concurrently, there was a 72 hour window to complete all the work which was acomplished well on schedule

Old Victorian building being re-used and updated - all plinths needed to be removed along with the cutting of the cast iron pipes to make way for new equipment - combination of wire sawing and tracksawing - great effort by the lads involved - Approx 70 tonnes of concrete cut up and lifted out vibration free ☺️
