"Our school’s expedition to Morocco with World Challenge was an exceptional experience that blended cultural immersion, personal growth, and genuine adventure. From the moment we arrived in Marrakesh, the vibrant colours, bustling markets, and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for the journey ahead.
A particular highlight was working alongside a rural community to support their primary school. The project was both challenging and fulfilling, giving students the chance to make a tangible contribution while developing teamwork, empathy, and resilience.
The trek through Morocco’s highest mountains brought intense heat and demanding terrain, testing everyone’s endurance and determination. Despite the challenge, camping beneath clear, star-filled skies and waking to breathtaking views made every step worthwhile. Students learned the value of perseverance, mutual support, and pushing beyond comfort zones.
The expedition concluded in the beautiful seaside town of Essaouira, where the relaxed pace, stunning coastline, and rich history provided the perfect setting to reflect on everything achieved.
