⚠️ Urgent Recall: Helly Hansen Lifejackets ⚠️ Please Share.
Helly Hansen has issued a product safety recall for four lifejacket models due to a serious inflation failure risk. If you, your crew, or your family use Helly Hansen lifejackets please stop and check immediately.
🔍 Affected Models:
Navigare Comfort – Style 33800 (Sizes: 30/40 kg, 40/60 kg, 60/90 kg, 90+ kg)
PO Numbers: 275063, 275857, 286301
Navigare Scan – Style 33801 (Same size range)
PO Numbers: 275064, 275858, 279872, 286302
Junior Safe+ – Style 33992 (Size: 20/35 kg)
PO Numbers: 275095, 275878, 279884
Kid Safe+ – Style 33991 (Size: 10/25 kg)
PO Numbers: 279883, 286310
📍 Check the PO number and style code on the inside waist label.
🚫 What to Do:
Stop using the lifejacket immediately.
Destroy it (e.g. cut straps or fabric to prevent reuse).
Take clear photos of the destroyed product and submit a refund claim.

❗ Why It Matters
This issue affects jackets sold over a wide span of years and may lead to complete failure to inflate in an emergency. Although no injuries have been reported, the risk is serious enough to warrant this full recall. These jackets were widely sold across Europe, including through major retailers and marine outlets.
Other Helly Hansen models are not affected.
