A few of you have been asking… how on earth did Molly lose her phone?! 😂📱🌊
Well, here’s the story! Evie decided to jump into the ocean wearing a waterproof phone case and was filming the whole thing. The phone was around her neck and in her hand… but in the excitement of the jump, she obviously let go, and unfortunately it slipped free from around her neck too! 😬
An unfortunate incident, but definitely one of those “you had to be there” moments! 😂🌊📱
Here’s the video evidence… 🎥👇

6am on the beach and the day is already well underway. Watching the local fishermen bring in their catch as the sun comes up — a little glimpse of everyday life here in Vietnam. 🌅🎣

Mud bath in Nui than tai hot springs park! Had the best day at the water park, there was so much to do there! Wish we had more time there! #

Ninh Binh wasn’t somewhere I knew much about before this trip, but I’m so glad we added it to our itinerary.

We climbed the 500 steps up Hang Múa (the views were definitely worth the sweat!), explored the countryside by bike, drifted along the river by boat through limestone cliffs and caves, and met some lovely local people along the way.

One moment that really stuck with me was at the old railway station, where local mums were bringing their children to practise their English with visitors. I sat chatting with one little girl who was incredibly shy but so determined. Watching her confidence grow over the conversation was one of those unexpected travel moments that I’ll always remember.

It’s places like Ninh Binh that remind me that travel isn’t just about the scenery—it’s about the people you meet and the experiences you never could have planned.

If you’re thinking about Vietnam, I’d definitely recommend adding Ninh Binh to your itinerary.
