Harvest’s in. Home-grown courgettes, tomatoes, padron peppers, garlic, onion plus a tiny aubergine, some pea shoots and micro-greens, which I turned into a rather lovely bruschetta with my sourdough. How smug do I feel, making dinner from stuff entirely grown or made here? Horribly. (OK, I didn’t make the olive oil)
