What amazing beach weather we've had in Hornsea 😍🌞 With the beach literally outside the front door of Bay View you can easily take the wind break we have there and a blanket to sit on the beach and have a picnic, read a book and paddle in the sea 🌊 Book via the link in the bio 🌊🌞 ⛱️

It's great to see Mappleton beach on this list, as well as Fraisthorpe and Danes D**e near Bridlington 😍 Mappleton is a lovely beach just south of Hornsea and when the tide is out you can walk down the beach from Hornsea to Mappleton (but make sure you check tide times) 🌊🌞

Did you know that Hornsea is the start of the Trans Penine Trail (TPT) that goes from Hornsea right across to Southport? At Bay View there's a bike shed at the front for you to store your bikes in if you wish to bring them with you and cycle.

It's only a 10km bike ride from Hornsea to the amazing Railway Inn New Ellerby down the TPT. The homecooked food there is amazing 😋 You can also bike a little further if you come off the trail at New Ellerby to Burton Constable Hall and have a cuppa, cake or some lunch in their wonderful cafe. You can even sit outside with a lovely view too.

You can of course walk or run the trail too and the back roads from Hornsea are quite flat and quiet too 🚲 🚴‍♂️ Lots to do and explore 😍

A lovely walk on the beach this morning to discover a yoga class and then a visit to Mondo Del Caffè for an incredible breakfast 😍😋 Amazing food and amazing service too 👏

Walking down the sea front near Bay View and there is ukuleles and singing at The Marine pub, board games evening at The Floral Hall and the local am dram panto in the main hall of The Floral Hall. What a truly lovely place Hornsea is to visit 😍🌊 Book your stay via Sykes Cottages 🥰
