A big thank you to Hornsea Inshore Rescue and Hornsea NCI , who monitored the waters this morning for the summer solcise.

4.31am was sun rise and it was just lovely to watch from our boards. Here's Paul and myself - We paddled 3 miles and all before I'd normally wake up! Just for info, if you like to paddle in the sea, Hornsea have a coast watch station (NCI) that's manned every day (check times- its near the Marine Pub) and they keep a watch on anyone in or near the water and would raise an alarm if you needed help.

Our last available dates for 2025.... sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and low occupancy rates on most weeks. 2 minutes from the dog friendly all year beach and town with dog friendly cafes, bars and shops. Secure garden and parking.

All dates and rates below for 2025 and 2026 .

Hornsea, East Yorkshire. Just a perfect place, 2 minutes walk from the beach, town and on the transpennine trail. ❤️ 2 minutes from the local pool, short walk to 2 parks, 2 amusement arcades, The Mere, Bugtopia and Honeysuckle Childrens Farm. No need to leave Hornsea if you don't want to.

3 bedrooms, 2 king size and 1 twin, sleeping 6. Large corner bath and walk in shower. Downstairs is good sized kitchen/dining room and a living room with 2 three seater sofas. Small conservatory and a garden shed made into a beach bar! Very secure garden with walls and gates locking internally and the one leading to the transpennine trail locked with a digital, keyless, pad. No dog restrictions in the house and no dog charges. Multi dog friendly too.

2025 - £100 deposit secures a date.

We have 2 prices for visits on most dates, one for 2 bedrooms and up to 4 people and one for 3 bedrooms and up to 6 people. No charge for dogs 😀 and multi dogs welcome.

We once stayed in a cottage and on arrival had to go to the supermarket to buy essentials like kitchen roll, condiments, shampoo, tea, coffee etc. We spent over £50 before we could even start thinking about the food shop. So when we put our cottages together we decided essentials would be included as the norm, and enough for your whole stay.
So we leave plenty:-
Loo rolls, shampoos, conditioner, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar, tin foil, salt, pepper, vinegar, red and brown ketchup, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, bleach, olive oil, hand wash, washing up liquid, dish cloths, dog treats, poo bags and more.
This way you get to enjoy your holiday from the off set......and of course you get in to start your holiday no later than 2.30pm.
