Visit Horsham

Visit Horsham Online promotion of the historic market town of Horsham since 2006. This ‘Horsham’ page was created by Visit Horsham in September 2008.

Visit Horsham was created in 2006 by merging former business members of the Horsham Traders’ Guild and The Horsham Forum. We are independent of, but have a good relationship with, Horsham District Council. The aim of this page, as was the aim of the Horsham Forum’s before it, is simply to help connect Horsham people, groups and businesses - as well as promoting the historic market town of Horsham

. We were the first, and are the largest, social media site reporting on Horsham and we strive to provide topical, balanced, moderated & family friendly coverage of Horsham-related news to our followers. https://www.visithorsham.co.uk/

Friday Lates: A reminder, please do not bring chairs unless you have accessibility needs

We are thrilled to be welcoming back our Friday Lates programme this summer, launching on Friday with a night of Country music courtesy of The Gamblers. We can’t wait to see you all but wanted to remind visitors of a few ‘House Rules’, introduced to ensure everyone can enjoy their Friday night as much as possible.

The road closure will return this year through the Carfax every Friday from 5.30pm-8.30pm (until the end of August), the Carfax taxi ranks and bus stops will be temporarily relocated.

- Buses will depart from the main bus station 🚌

- Taxis will pick up passengers from the train station, with an additional temporary taxi rank at the top of the Causeway (near Blackhorse Way) 🚕

- Trains will be running as normal 🚅

Please plan ahead and leave extra time for travel.

Please do not bring a chair unless you have access requirements. This will help us to manage the size of the audience, keep the Carfax as safe as we can and, most importantly, continue to run these events in a safe and enjoyable manner for all.

Horsham Markets stalls and nearby shops will be open late, serving up a great mix of food and drink throughout the evenings.

Our social media platforms will always have the most up to date information on them, especially in the event of inclement weather or adverse conditions, make sure you are following us!

Our Friday Lates are again being filmed and photographed. This content will be used by us online and alongside press releases and articles in local magazines and newspapers to highlight the success of the events and to promote future programmes. If you do not wish to be included in the photos, we advise avoiding the area immediately around the Carfax.

See you on Friday! 🤠

We will start you off with two of our members who have registered for the scheme. They are both visible in this photo and often collaborate - they are well worth a visit!
