Today we’re sharing some big news at Penfold Verrall.
On 19th December, we say goodbye to two absolute cornerstones of the business as Chris and Lisa retire.
Losing one person like this would be tough. Losing two at the same time is a real moment. Both have quietly, consistently done the work that keeps a company moving day in, day out, the kind of work that often goes unnoticed precisely because it’s done so well.
Chris joined the company in 1991, and next year would have marked an incredible 35 years. Her contribution goes far beyond a job title - she’s been instrumental in our longevity, our stability, and in steering the business through some genuinely challenging times. A trusted professional, a constant ally, and a friend to many.
Together, Chris and Lisa have embodied what reliability, integrity and commitment actually look like in practice, not just words on a wall. They are the unsung heroes of this organisation, and we owe them a great deal.
Thank you both for everything you’ve done and everything you’ve been. You leave big shoes to fill and a lasting legacy.
