Everyone thinks my job is sipping cocktails on the beach and swanning around 5-star hotels…

…but last week was a very real reminder that the reality is quite different. :)

With the recent air traffic control issues causing disruption, my week looked more like:

• Hours on hold to airlines, finding solutions
• Rebooking flights and rearranging plans at very short notice
• Chasing airlines, suppliers and confirmations
• Keeping clients updated
• Sorting out the details behind the scenes so they didn’t have to
• Being there when plans changed so they weren’t left to deal with it alone

The good news: everyone still got to where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there.

Because when you book with me, you’re not just booking a holiday.

You’re getting someone who has your back.
Someone who knows your trip, understands what needs to happen, and is there to sort things out when they don’t go to plan.

The cocktails and 5-star hotels are a lovely part of the job…

…but this is what I’m really here for.
