You may well know that we often take care of Lynsey Crombie, aka Lynsey Queen Of Clean with her transfers to important photo and video shoots and events up and down the country as a TV personality and influencer.

Today while returning Lynsey from a shoot near Norwich she was telling me how she got started. To cut a long and very interesting story short it all hinged around a phone call she took some years ago instead of a work colleague who she was sitting in for.

I personally have always been a true believer in fate, things happen form a treason right? You arrive at a junction in life and you choose a turn not knowing where that leads you.......and that is the real adventure life is all about.

Lynsey has a remarkable story of survival against all odds and has shone like a beacon. She has given inspiration and hope to many which is why she is the popular household name she is today.

You’re sat minding your own business munching on an overpriced sweaty sandwich at London Gateway Services on the M1 between jobs when this happens. 🥴

Thankfully no one hurt and our rear dash cam clip emailed to the innocent party for their insurance claim.

Mo is down at Heathrow atm picking up a passenger in our A8 coming back to Huntingdon and I’m resuming my Castor wait and return to the Taylor Swift gig at Wembley. I’ll be doing it all again tomorrow. 😃

Apologies I’ve been a bit quiet lately my Drive Arrive chums but I’ve been rather busy with one thing and another.

Anyway, I’m back and back in my happy place for an overnight stay in an Airbnb before picking up the house keeper and the possessions of a very good client of ours.

First though a quick photo of my supper, a gorgeous pizza from a beach side wood fired oven.

Today Drive Arrive celebrates 9 wonderful years in business and I can safely say they have been the happiest of my life.

I am so lucky to have a thriving business I simply love, a very supportive fiancée and family, great professional drivers and a huge network of associate drivers without whom none of this would have happened.

I’d like to send a massive thanks to the above and of course to our 251 loyal clients with 660 passengers, many of whom are now personal friends.

The photo below is probably the earliest one I published, our first car, an 06 plate Mercedes S Class 350l going through its council compliance test back in 2015.
