Good morning from The Woodlands 🌿 An early start today as we head out to stock up on winter feed for our animals and the wildlife we help care for.

Sadly, the journey has been heartbreaking. We’ve passed stretches of road with so many pheasants that have been hit—around 20 within just a few hundred metres, seemingly mostly males. Then fewer for the next mile, before another large group. Such a sad sight, repeated along the journey. 💔

Please keep an eye out for wildlife on the roads and give them a chance to get clear when it’s safe to do so. 🐦
