Kingston Build Update 🏗️

It’s been a busy few weeks at Kingston, and there’s a big difference since our last update!

We’ve now reached an exciting stage in the build, with the groundworks completed and the foundations in place. After spending so long looking at plans and drawings, it’s really special to finally see everything starting to take shape on site.

You can now start to get a real feel for just how big Kingston is going to be and appreciate the scale of the project. Seeing the groundwork finished makes it feel like we’re one big step closer to bringing the plans to life.

There’s still a long way to go, but it’s exciting to see Kingston starting to come together! 🏡

It's been a productive couple of weeks on site at Kingston! Here you can see the early footings work underway - with concrete being poured into the trenches and the base pads set ready for the steelwork to follow.

Every great building starts from the ground up, and we are so excited to finally be at this stage.

Kingston 20 is going to be something truly special - a brand new five-star luxury holiday let, designed from the very foundations with our guests in mind.

Here's a look at the journey so far!

These photos show the transformation from the very beginning – starting with the old building that once housed our dairy cows alongside the old parlour, through the demolition process, and finally to the empty site you see today, ready for its next chapter.

While it's sad to say goodbye to a building that has been part of the farm's history for so many years, we're excited to see this space transformed into something new. Every project starts with strong foundations, and this is where our holiday home journey begins.

We can't wait to share each stage of the build with you as we bring this vision to life. Follow along for regular updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the progress!

We've officially started! 🎉

First week working on our newest project Kingston. It's going to be a biggie, over 10,000 square feet of facilities and accommodation ready to host all your BIG celebrations and life events - with all your closest friends and family under one roof.

Before we can get to that though we are going to have to get dirty so we are putting on our wellies 🥾 and have made a start preparing and levelling the site to get ready to start on the foundations.

Malherbie Group Stays has some BIG news. 🏡✨

Work has already begun — and we're giving you a first look at where it all starts.

We're thrilled to announce Kingston, the newest addition to The Malherbie Collection, joining Beaverbrook and Churchill. What you're seeing here is the very beginning — the old shed coming down and the bare site being cleared, ready for something truly special to take its place.

Kingston will be our biggest property yet, sleeping 20–30 guests across 10 luxurious en-suite bedrooms and surpassing even Beaverbrook and Churchill in size.

We'll be taking you along for the entire journey, sharing regular updates as the build progresses — from the ground up. We'll also be sharing CGI renders as soon as they're ready, so you can start picturing exactly what Kingston will look like.
