Happy Saturday! Here is a pic from last weekend in Coniston, we had a great time camping with family despite some very heavy rain on the first night which revealed a leak in the van 😫

Our t4 is our self built campervan, we bought it as a panel van about 5 years ago and set to work turning it into a campervan for our family. I have written about the main build on our blog but if you own a self build and you’re anything like us there’s always something that can be improved 🤣 there’s usually at least a couple of jobs on the go! Our next job…to find out where the leak is coming from, we think it’s either the back window or the awning rail 🤔 We don’t hire this one out, it’s a passion project and we love it! Have any of you taken on a similar project or fancy converting your own campervan?

Six years ago we hired a VW Campervan for the second time (thanks Timehop!🤣). Our daughter was 4 and I was pregnant with our son. We intended to stay in Northumberland, but after two nights of terrible weather and worse to come, we decided to pack up and head back over to the North West where the weather was looking slightly better. We managed to book a pitch at Low Wray Campsite on Lake Windermere and enjoyed playing lakeside with our little sausage dog Midge, a yummy homemade pizza from the takeaway van, and deer spotting at dusk. Campervan adventures and sweet little lasting memories✨🦌✨🚐🌅

A brand new month and also the start of the Easter holidays 🙌🏻

We’re looking forward to lots of walks and time outside, pressing the re-set button after a busy few weeks.
