Is bigger always better when it comes to cruising? 🚢

Dot has just returned from five days exploring Northern Scotland aboard Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Balmoral ship, and discovered that sometimes, a smaller and more traditional style of cruising is exactly what you need.

Sailing from Rosyth, her trip took her to Lerwick and Stornoway, with plenty of surprises along the way, such as sailing beneath the Forth bridges and meeting the locals in Shetland, to going behind the scenes of the ship and discovering a rather questionable Brussels Sprout Pad Thai… 👀

She’s shared the good, the not-so-good and the things she’d definitely do again in her latest travel diary.

Mumbai, a city that has to be experienced. 🇮🇳

Last week, our Murray Travel Top Performers were treated to an unforgettable trip to Mumbai, and what a destination it was!

We explored the city on a street food tour, sampled local delicacies, discovered fragrant spice markets, enjoyed authentic Indian cuisine at Khyber and a spectacular tasting menu at Nksha, before taking a boat across to the fascinating Elephanta Caves.

We witnessed the famous Dabbawalas in action, visited the iconic Dhobi Ghat, explored the bustling streets of Mumbai and took a fascinating guided tour of Dharavi.

We had the chance to spend the day onboard P&O Cruises’ Britannia while she was alongside in Invergordon, and we can see why she remains such a favourite. ✨
