The area is steeped in history and we have our own 4000 year old Ring Cairn on site for guests to visit. The cottages are ideally positioned for golfing, walking, winter sports not to mention the chance to see Loch Ness, castles, distilleries and all the culture of the Scottish Highlands. 15 minutes to Castle Stuart, 35 mins to Nairn Championship and 1 hour to Royal Dornoch golf courses.

During the summer, reindeer have a very high appetite and spend lots of their time eating in order to grow their antlers and gain enough fat stores to survive the winter. At the moment, they usually come jogging down the hill as soon as we call - thanks boys! 📣

Our Story

Gask House is located in the Strathnairn Valley and we encourage you to visit this stunning part of Scotland. On site is The Gask Ring Cairn which is the largest of its type and dates from around 2000BC. Guests are welcome to visit this magnificent piece of Scottish history. Also on site are three beautiful farm cottages set in a lovely rural setting and yet just 15 minutes from Inverness city.
