Winners: Scottish Bed and Breakfast of the Year 2022!!

For the third year, Old Drynie House B&B has been credited with a big win at The Scottish Hospitality Awards, but this year was our biggest achievement yet. After winning “Bed & Breakfast of the Year North” in the regional competition for the second time in four years, Old Drynie House was then crowned the overall Scottish champion as well, for the first time. This is an incredible honour.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been nominated as a finalist at The Scottish Hospitality Awards 2019.

Last year we were lucky enough to win B&B of the year for the North of Scotland. We very much hope to bring home the same accolade this year, but to have been considered at all is a thrill. We’ll keep followers updated!

It's always nice when we can help electric car drivers charge their vehicles. This Tesla asked for a little fill-up last night and we were happy to help it's owners while they spent the night.

Some photographs of the new library at the B&B. We serve our delicious breakfasts for guests here (as well as in the dining room) and also offer guests the chance to borrow books and peruse our old map collection. We’re thrilled to have it as another space for guests to relax in and enjoy.....

The beautiful and historic Dulsie bridge is about 30mins from our B&B; our guests visited recently, giving us this photo to share on their behalf. You can quite easily get down to the River Findhorn to enjoy the full scale of the 60ft high bridge which was built not long after the Battle of Culloden to support the military road that’s now rather forgotten (but very fun to explore).
It’s popular as a ‘tombstoning’ jump spot, but we high recommend it just as a wild swimming and chillout spot.
Robert Burns visited and wrote about both the bridge and the area during his tour of the Highlands, which is enough to make it more than a little special for us ❤️
