Glen Affric is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful glens. It is also one of the best examples of the Caledonian Forest that once covered much of Scotland.

2025 marks 75 years of public forestry conservation work in Glen Affric. We currently look after around 68 square miles of the central and lower parts of the glen.

Over the years we have worked with other landowners, communities and volunteer groups to protect and restore this special place through planting and allowing natural regeneration of Scots pine and native broadleaves.

It's lovely to hear that guests enjoy their holiday with us and make good use of the facilities on offer.

We had a lovely stay in Pheasant Lodge, which is in a quiet setting, surrounded by birdsong. It was beautifully clean and had all that we needed.If you enjoy swimming, then the pool is a real bonus - not least because you can book your slot the day before and we were able to enjoy it to ourselves. The changing rooms and pool were both immaculate and the water temperature was just right and our three children had great fun. Thank you, owners!
