Why should you explore the Highlands with Lewis? 👀

Why did you become a guide?
I became a guide when I started the business back in 2024, but I’ve always had a huge passion for Scotland and telling stories of our incredible country!

Favourite tour stop?
My favourite tour stop is Culloden Battlefield. It’s hallowed ground and a poignant reminder of the brutality of war but ultimately the outcome has reverberated through Scotland ever since and is a truly important place to visit.

Hidden gem most tourists miss?
My hidden gem that most tourists miss would be Gairloch Beach. Turquoise water, white, silky sand and not another soul in sight… absolute bliss!

A place in Scotland you’ve never been to but would love to?
One of the places I haven’t visited (yet!) in Scotland that I’ve always wanted to visit is St Kilda. The Westernmost point and last outpost of our little country, this once inhabited island is as isolated as you can possibly be in Scotland… a remarkable place to feel at peace!
