Our Operations Director thought there was something amiss when she came to the Old Manse today. There were lampshades askew and object d'art knocked over, but finding nothing else disturbed she was pondering what it could have been when the Lovely Fiona and Donald from Grant Tent Hire & Grant Event Hire arrived to measure up for a marquee for a wedding.

Whilst giving them a quick guided tour of the Old Manse, we discovered the culprit, sitting atop one of our wardrobes. A gorgeous Tawny Owl. We're not sure who was more surprised the Humans or the Bird. Some quick thinking from Fiona and the Tawny owl was captured and released outside, it just flew off without a backward glance (or two hoots!) 🦉🦉

We are lucky enough to be surrounded by wildlife here at the Old Manse, and know that we have a stag and his does on the hill behind, the owl nesting nearby, swallows are nesting in the eaves and plenty of other wildlife around us.

We had an incredible time at the Highland Wedding Fair, meeting so many wonderful and happy couples! 💑✨ Our hearts are full as we shared in the joy and excitement of planning weddings at our stunning property on the banks of Loch Ness. 🏞️💍

From romantic ceremonies to unforgettable receptions, we can't wait to work with these amazing couples to bring their dream weddings to life. 🌸👰🤵 Every love story is unique, and we are honored to be a part of this special journey.
