Obviously when the light appears the first thing to do is check your tyre pressures, but if they’re still correct then what? There’s a possibility the sensors inside the wheel are at fault - this Vauxhall Mokka had all 4 replaced after 3 stopped working and the battery was low on the 4th! All fitted and programmed in swiftly allowing the customer to know the tyres are inflated correctly at all times

Which is what the customer saved on a recent visit…
When a charging error appeared on the dashboard and the vehicle we traced it to an internal fault in the vehicle inverter, with a new one costing over £4000 and along with some guidance from HEVRA we were able to repair the existing unit and restore normal charging ability!

Another Big Cat in this week - recovered in as a non runner, fault traced to water ingress in the rear body control module, with Jaguar parts currently unobtainable and a new module over £2000 we managed to source a good used unit, clone the original module data over, repair the wiring and fix the water leak and get this big car purring once again

Good maintenance is the key - have your oil changed every 10,000 miles with the correct grade good quality oil and you’re unlikely to see a major problem
We’re not suggesting you go the full manufacture timeframe more like 80% of original planned life expectancy.
This isn’t a massively new technology it’s been a lot more common than many realise since 2007 and we’ve been changing them for over 10 years!

Today saw this lovely Volkswagen ID3 in for MOT, Inspection Service and Brake Fluid Change
Whilst there are less filters required on an EV service no corners were cut, as always we used a Mann Biofunctional Cabin filter offering increased passenger comfort in what is already a great place to be!

Workshop Status update…
We’re beyond busy at the moment, more so than usual, there’s still just me here and only a finite amount of hours in a day
Phone is largely unavailable as trying to clear the mental backlog
If we regularly MOT and Service your vehicle we will make space for you wherever humanly possible
New diag jobs were now booking 2nd week of November
Wet belts we’ve one slot left in October and 3 in November…

At present we are unable to accept anymore breakdowns on site so please get in touch before a recovery truck arrives, where possible we will assist with alternative repair provisions
