Meet Colin, Head of Franchise at GoCruise&Travel

“My career in the travel industry has spanned over many decades. Each touch point, experience, and adventure I have taken along the way has shaped me for who I am today. You don’t get that in every industry you work in. Some are seen as a means to the end with paying the bills, some like the travel industry add so much more than that, adding life experience and memorable moments, skills and experiences that really benefit your life’s enjoyment. This industry provides the perfect backdrop for anyone wanting to start something new, as who wouldn’t want to talk about going on holiday!

I’ve worked over the years in many different roles within different sectors of the travel industry. I’ve helped customers on holiday, I’ve worked behind the scenes with putting holiday products together as well as selling holidays to customers in travel agencies. I’ve seen so many, and used myself, many transferable skills to do my job at the time well and the best to my ability. Having that desire and focus has certainly helped me succeed in an industry I’m extremely passionate about.

My favourite role over all these years, has be what I do now, and I feel everything I’ve done up to this point has led to how I shape this Franchise opportunity for others who want to enjoy what they do, and to make money from it! Our Franchise strength is our community feel and support we have created together with our Franchisees. We share, respect, and help support each other together to build successful businesses selling holidays and cruises. This success comes from the support structure we provide with time and dedication from our Franchisees whom passion brings to life the enjoyment factor of running your own business with us. Something, that can be shaped around your lifestyle, which in this day and age, is so important to get the balance right for you. I love what I do, and I feel so privileged to help others get to that point with their business goals and aspirations. I’m very proud of what we have achieved together!
