Sometimes you meet people whose determination is impossible not to admire, and Suzy Rook is definitely one of them. 💙

When I heard about what she was planning and why she was doing it, I knew I wanted to help. So I was delighted to sponsor her flights for her Arctic Adventure as she heads off this weekend to attempt a 1000m swim in Arctic waters of around 1°C to 3°C, wearing nothing but a swimsuit!

What makes this even more incredible is that just a few months ago Suzy couldn't swim 20 meters of front crawl. Since then, she's put in months of relentless training and is now preparing to take on a challenge that no Scottish swimmer is believed to have completed before.

Following a thyroid cancer diagnosis, she's chosen to channel her experience into raising money and awareness for causes that mean so much to her, supporting both cancer charities and mental health/suicide prevention.

Watching her commitment, resilience and positive attitude throughout this journey has been inspiring, and I feel privileged that Sunray Travel Club could play a small part in helping her get there.

Good luck, Suzy. I'll be following every update and cheering you on from home. You've already achieved something incredible just by reaching this point. 🩷

What started as a love of travel has grown into a thriving business thanks to the incredible support of my clients, friends and family.

The last couple of years especially it’s grown beyond what I ever imagined.

This is exactly why using a travel agent still matters ✈️

Had a client send me their passport over today and I spotted straight away that although it looked in date, it didn't expire until next year, it was actually over 10 years old from the issue date!

The client had absolutely no idea the rules had changed and would be unable to travel! Honestly, had they booked online or even through a high street agent, there’s a very real chance this wouldn’t have been picked up until airport check-in 😳

Instead?

✔️ Emergency appointment secured
✔️ Holiday saved
