I’ve noticed a lot of South Tyneside plated private hire taxis have got there cars plated in Newcastle because of various reasons such as lower fees to the council and there able to work for ride hailing apps such as Bolt or Uber.
So I have eventually got my Newcastle Operator licence which allows them to work at Dels Taxis as there is a shortage of cars in South Tyneside which creates massive problems at certain times for us to cover our pre booked and phone work….
