I think the slightly wild gardening approach must be working. This is one of 3 groups of nesting bumble bees we have found in the garden so far this year. We are also seeing the odd swallow coming to take advantage of the bees above the garage roof - that's nature I guess!
There are also spotted flycatchers nesting just outside Drumlins' front door 🙂
