Ruwalk around the Shap fells. Lovely small fells on the outskirts of the Lake District, often overlooked these fells make a great quick hit or a longer day out. These are the fells overlooking the Borrowdale valley near Roundthwaite. Some old patches of snow lingering that Harry found interesting.

February trip to Glen Etive. Some remote walking down there. Stayed in the van, surrounded by Stags and deer. Strong 60mph winds on day 2, good old Cameron McNeish times for the round/s...sure he quotes unrealistic times to make you feel bad...Munros of Ben Starav, Beinn nan Aighenan, & Glas Bheinn Mhor.

November 2015 - Trip to Crookrise...last good day before the 6 months of rain that followed...
Teamed up with Peter and Alastair.
Some bouldering, mostly routes. Fantastic high pressure day!

Delayed blog pics from October 2015...the last 'big' multi pitch climb of the season...Hell's Lum/Clean Sweep. Had a Ruwalk the day before on the Munros by the side of the A9.
Interesting route (as always been a Classic...) wet, 3 pitches crack was great. Felt it should be an overall 5a, especially the first pitch. Great walk in atmospheric crag, hope to be back for the Shelterstone crag and the Needle.

A solo birthday trip to the beloved Scotland. Munro bagging (not counting...) the best bit is the bike/hike technique. This generally means you get the monotonous valley walk outta the way on the bike, then hike then bike back out when ya legs are tired! Shots of the wonderfully remote Glen Tilt, then the 'closed' (thanks for letting me know at the convenient road end...) Culra bothy near Dalwhinnie, and then some unfinished Munros around Loch Laggan area. Still lot's of snow on tops and weather was pretty stable. Ow and even got to see a Golden Eagle about 200m away! Flew straight up from the Coire.

Day out at with Mr.Spiller at Stump Cross crag & Rowentree Tor. Fine calm weather and excellent views, combined with (no bu**er else there) made for some fine bouldering.

The importance of watching where that blasted rope goes, when your engrossed on the job in hand! We've all done it & still do it, the belayer can help us out lot's too! Be alert...
