Iām already looking ahead to summer 2027 ā not because Iām trying to predict where everyone will be going, but because I like being a little bit ahead of the curve when it comes to travel.
Iām constantly keeping an eye on travel trends, emerging destinations and the holiday destinations that are starting to get people talking. Itās something I genuinely enjoy, and it means I can do the research before you even know you need it.
HimarĆ« in Albania is one that has really caught my attention. I can see it appealing to people who love the Mediterranean but want something that feels a little less familiar. Beautiful coastline, a slower pace and plenty of character, without feeling like youāve arrived somewhere that has already been completely discovered.
Iām also very drawn to Syros. If you love Greece but want more than just a beach-and-pool holiday, I think itās a really interesting option. Thereās beautiful architecture, great food, beaches and plenty to explore, so you can have a proper island holiday without feeling like you need to spend the whole week in one place.
These are the sorts of destinations I love finding for clients ā places that might not immediately be on your radar, but could be exactly what youāre looking for.
And itās why I donāt think travel planning should simply be about finding a destination and booking a hotel. The right area, the right hotel, the experiences you choose and how everything fits together can completely change a holiday.
