We've finally got a pond. Back in June we had a pond dug in the wettest area of our meadow. For the last 3 months we've had a muddy hole in the ground. Great to see it full of water now the rains are back.

Over the summer we've already seen a huge number of dragonflies and mayflies, and the swallows loved it for catching bugs.

Meanwhile the cows have been enjoying the hawthorn, and Clifford's been dressing up in burrs.
